1 vacancy – Kaiserslautern, AE GermanyYou will coordinate all input for internal and external audits for review and approval by the Accounting Division Chief. Maintain inputs in DP AS (Defense Property Accountability System) to support Region supply of assets.Monitor and track assets through all financial systems. Report changes to the book value on a monthly basis. You will maintain overall controls of all expenditure accounting for all commissary stores in the region, activities in the region, and field operation activities.Determine that all transactions are properly processed and expenditures do not exceed pre-established control totals. Analyze reports and documents ensuring all transactions meet all regulatory and directive publications. Isolates erroneous conditions, takes corrective action to bring report and listing into weigh, verifies corrected reports and recommends changes in procedures to prevent any recurrence of the problem.You will review documents prepared by various operational officials of serviced activities.You will maintain the Regime Travel Card Program. Process and review new applications for accuracy and completeness. Reconcile mandatory monthly reports in a timely manner in order to look improvements.
